花式溜冰簡介(中英對照)

In the beginning, I want to say, figure skating is a very beautiful sport, which needs only an appreciating attitude to watch, but no professional background knowledge, since human gets a nature of appreciating beauty.

首先我想說一下，花式溜冰是項很漂亮的運動，欣賞它並不需要專業的知識，只需要一顆欣賞美麗事物的心即足夠，人類天生就有這樣的本能。

Figure skating is an Winter Olympic sport in which individuals, pairs, or groups perform spins, jumps, footwork and other intricate and challenging moves on ice skates. Figure skaters compete at various levels from beginner up to the Olympic level (senior), and at local, national, and international competitions. The International Skating Union (ISU) regulates international figure skating judging and competitions. In languages other than English and Russian, figure skating is usually referred to by a name that translates as "artistic skating".

花式溜冰是冬季奧運中的一個項目，有單人組、雙人組和團體組，在規定時間內在冰上表演旋轉、跳躍、步法，和其他各種錯綜複雜且具挑性的動作。溜冰選手必需透過各種比賽來提升自己等級，從地方性、全國性到國際性，從初級者開始到最終取得奧運資格，由國際滑冰協會(ISU)規範國際性的裁判和賽事。在英語和俄語以外的語言，通常將溜冰稱作「藝術滑冰」。

Major international competitions are sanctioned by the ISU. These include the Winter Olympic Games, the World Championships, the World Junior Figure Skating Championships, the European Figure Skating Championships, the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, and the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (senior and junior).

國際滑冰協會(ISU)主辦的賽事包括冬季奧運滑冰賽、世界花式滑冰錦標賽、青少年花式滑冰錦標賽、歐洲花式滑冰錦標賽、四大洲花式滑冰錦標賽、和國際滑冰聯盟花式滑冰大獎賽。
